Pricing

 

Prices for my translation work are normally based on the source text wordcount and are subject to confirmation. The rate will depend on the complexity of the content, formatting requirements and urgency.

 

However, the following prices are indicative of the kind of rate you can expect to pay:

 

  • Translation of a general, non-specialist text provided in Word format: GBP 70 per thousand words

  • Translation of a specialist text provided in Word format: GBP 75 per thousand words

 

I can work with a range of other file formats; please contact me for further information if you have your text in a different file format.

 

The prices quoted above include thorough proofreading and final check before delivery.

 

 

Prices for editing/proofreading/checking are based on my usual hourly rate:

 

  • Editing a text written in English: GBP 45

  • Proofreading in English: GBP 30
